our "Geek the Library" campaign!
The Howell Carnegie District Library celebrated the final event of its “Geek the Library” campaign on December 18, in an effort to thank everyone who supported our events during 2012. Christmas cookies were provided by the talented students and staff of The Highlander Restaurant, part of Howell High School. The Geek the Library project is a community awareness campaign designed to highlight the vital role of public libraries in communities and to raise awareness about the critical funding issues many libraries face. The goal of the campaign is to inspire conversations about our incredible public libraries and their urgent need for increased support.
