Description
A large, hardy perennial plant growing 3 to 4 feet tall and spreading 4 feet wide. It produces globe-shaped flower heads about 4 to 6 inches in diameter. The tender, fleshy base of the leaves and the heart are edible and prized for their nutty, slightly sweet flavor. Planting Instructions
