The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) is a statewide partnership offering enhanced access to museums, and other arts and cultural organizations in Michigan. While the program runs year-round, a renewed and expanded list of offerings launches May 24.
This year MAP has entered into a new partnership with Michigan DNR, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and Michigan Recreation and Parks Association (formerly the MI Big Green Gym program) that will result in the addition of some 230 state parks, recreation areas, state forest campgrounds, and state historic sites to the MAP program.
MAP is an online program. Library users with a valid library card can print a pass, either from home or at the library, to one of the participating institutions. Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders only. Each Michigan Activity Pass expires within one week from the date it is printed. Each library will have five passes for each of the participating organizations available. Passes are for one-time use and are not transferable. The institution will collect the pass when you visit. Special exhibits may not be covered, and other exclusions may apply.
Find out what discoveries await you and print your pass at the MAP website.
