Mondays, March 8 – May 10 at 9:30 am.

Parents & 0-3 year olds, join Howell Library staff over Zoom for an interactive experience featuring some favorite rhymes, songs, & stories. Siblings welcome! Geared more for 0-3 year olds but 3-5 year olds will also enjoy it; all ages welcome to attend.

Registration is required and begins at 10am on Monday, February 22. You are registering for an 8 week session: Monday, March 8 – Monday, May 10.

Virtual Family Early Literacy Class (for Children 3-5 years old & Parents/Caregivers) Online

Thursdays, March 11 – May 13 at 9:30 am.

Parents & 3-5 year olds, join Howell Library staff over Zoom for an interactive experience featuring some favorite rhymes, songs, & stories. The Family class is geared more for 3-5 year olds whereas the RMP class is geared more for 0-3 year olds; siblings welcome with both.

Registration is required and begins at 10am on Thursday, February 25. You are registering for a session that runs weekly on Thursdays: Thursday, March 11 – May 13.

Outdoor Early Literacy Classes: 2 Week Session

(May 18 – May 26)

(Registration begins Tuesday, May 11 & Wednesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m.)

Outdoor RMP – Read, Music, Play (for Children 0-3 years old & Parents/Caregivers)

Tuesday, May 18 & Tuesday, May 25 at 11:00 am.

Parents/caregivers & 0-3 year olds, join Howell Library staff on the library lawn, socially distanced, for an outdoor Early Literacy experience featuring some favorite rhymes, songs, & stories.  Geared more for 0-3 year olds but 3-5 year olds will also enjoy it; all ages welcome to attend. A minimum of 6 families registered at least 24 hours prior to the class is needed for it to run.

Registration is required and begins at 10am on Tuesday, May 11. Please register 1 family member and use this name when you check-in. You are registering for 2 classes: Tuesday, May 18 & Tuesday, May 25.

Outdoor check-in begins at 10:45am, where you will be assigned an area to sit. All library events will be following CDC recommendations and local health guidelines. At this point we are planning on the following for outdoor events:

  • Capacity will be limited
  • Face masks are required for attendees ages 2+ (unless medically cannot tolerate)
  • Attending families stay together, socially distanced from others
    • each registered family will have a 6′ hoop to stay in, at least 6′ away from others
  • Food not permitted during event for ages 2+

Registration is required and begins at 10am on Wednesday, May 12. Please register 1 family member and use this name when you check-in. You are registering for 2 classes: Wednesday, May 19 & Wednesday, May 26.
